The ASB financing calculator shows estimated financing costs against potential dividends. Investing using a loan (leverage) carries risk. ASB dividends are not guaranteed and change every year, while the fixed loan instalment still has to be paid. You may suffer a net loss if dividends fall below the cost of the loan.
